Few months after I got engaged I started to think what kind of wedding I would like and my mind went crazy - I imagined us getting married on top of the mountain, preferably with snow around and I didn’t need anything else. While this seemed unreal at that time, we planned a wedding in Lithuania.
I found this beautiful old mansion and a big yard. Also they offer sleep overs and that’s what I was really looking forward to. I wanted to give a great experience for my new canadian family and friends :) Dreams and plans can be gone very quickly and eventually we decided to postpone our wedding day till 2022.
When thinking about a wedding on top of the mountain I came with a date that seemed very easy to remember 2020-10-10 :) And if you take zeros out you get my b-day, mayyyybe this is too much nerdy ;P Anyway, getting closer to this day we discussed with Youn what shall we do and we made a decission to do a small elopement wedding on top of the mountain (YES!!!) and have a bigger celebration in 2022.
Fingers crossed plan will not be blown away. We started planning and buying our outfits. I have to say the most worrying part for me was ordering shoes. I have an in between shoe size and never know if I should go smaller or bigger. Anyway, shoes were fine, I oredered my wedding outfit on Etsy, flower loop was made locally in Vancouver and jewellry was gifted by Youn’s parents :) I also found cute pink colour boots in case it would be raining and ordered a big clear umbrella on amazon.
