It's hard to imagine Thailand empty. Almost impossible. Always full of action, hot sun, breath-taking beaches, temples and delicious food.
This time our trip started with a work. We did photograph a wedding in Phuket and that's were we spend the rest 3 days. Actually the second day was sacrifised purely for sleep, because we had a super long and adventurous flight from Vancouver. But! That night we manage to go out to watch kickbox match.
Next day we walked a little bit around our city, booked a snorkelling tour for the last day. Found a local market which had everything what you could think of. My favourite thing is to find something I like presented in a new way. This time it was my beloved mackerel. We found old lady who had her own kiosk and was cooking fish right at the spot. We both looked at each other and realised that this will be our dinner on a porch that has a beach view :) You need such simple things in life to be happy.
Our last day we spent snorkeling around Racha Island and it was perrrrrfect! My first time was in Phillipines and after that I wanted to do more and more. That was #1 goal after wedding. Got bitten by a jellyfish but that didn't stopped me. Saw so many different fishes in many different shapes and I still have this view in my head. No actual photo :/
Our dinner place.
Believe it or not our ocean view was the most popular place for pre-wedding photo sessions. I could count like 8 sessions happening at the same time. That's how serious photography business is in Thailand.
Welcome to Racha Island white sand beach. The place where I was kissed by jellyfish :)
Our boat driver was wearing motorbike helmet. Some reptiles crossing palm land, little altar and this amazingly clear blue water. How you can resist that and not snorkel?
You think it's busy? Just about to get busy ;)

Our last day we woke up early to see sunrise, pink clouds and colourful boats bringing it all together :)
