PART I

My heart is happy when I see people around me being happy. It gets to the next level when I can share the things I love. This is my why. This is why I'm still in Canada, this is why I take photos, this is where I opened up and finally full filled my dream about mountains.

Having my childhood friend coming to see me and to see my life over seas meant a lot to me. I hope Morta and Andrius are still inspired by culture, nature and all the 'goodies' they experienced :) Take a look at our adventure to Sea to Sky Gondola next to Squamish :)

Homemade sandwiches and coffee in your termo mug is a perfect combo for a small hike in a forest after rain :) I took Morta and Andrius to Capilano Pacific Trail, where we visited Cleveland Dam and then walked all the way down to West Vancouver. Sometimes you just ignore or forget about such simple hikes because you always want to see something new and better then the last one, but this nice walk was a great reminder that no matter what - spending time in nature is awesome :) Take a look at these beautiful mossy trees and my friends enjoying it :)

PART III

Travelling is like playing game. You can take it serious or have it playful :)

After we had wonderful meal at local place we rushed into Changdeokgung Palace. This one was huge!!! We knew that they have tours in there and you can't enter by yourself. You have to be in a group. We were running in our Hanbok's like life depended on this. Unfortunately I couldn't understand anything our tour guide spoke because she only used Korean language :/ And on my first day I only knew how to say thank you, but that wasn't very helpful... After I read about this palace on wiki. According to the article it says that this palace was the most favored by Joseon princes. (Princes?? Yes, they had them in Korea!!) It's easy to notice how buildings blend into natural topography of the site. I believe it looks amazing in autumn time(my favourite time) and if I would be a princess this palace would be my favourite for sure!! Palace was built back in XIV century and since then burnt down couple times. Last thing I want to mention is that Changdeokgung Palace is on the list of UNESCO World Heritage.

After we returned our Hanbok we went to this nice artistic area and.... I found my favourite store ever!!! I just loved everything in there and went nuts:)

Yes yes!! Dinner time :) This lady was the best! Had her own little tent with mini kitchen set up. Brought us little bowl of soup and when it got cold just put it right on the heater in front of us :) Of course we ordered mackerel(!) and soju. The best thing about going out and having Korean food is sharing same meal with your friends/family/date etc. We are so used to eat from individuals dishes and I think it's very sad. Sharing is love, right? ;)

How to describe something that you fell in love? All the words suddenly seem weak and not strong enough. I want to mention everything at the same time. I almost want to shout about my love but at the same time I feel stuck because I don't know where to start.

Mmmmm...... I have an idea!

A long long time ago I met Aileen or Jiae on a very first day at my work. I remember very well I was going downhill and thought how I will meet lots of new coworkers and it almost felt like I'm going back to university. My thoughts were stopped by a soft voice saying 'Hi' :) She ran over the street to ask if I'm going to the same place as she is. Luckily I was and since then we had lots of great time working together :) When she had to leave Canada I cried. I was not ready to break our young relationship. The same year she came back secretly and made a surprise for me. So this year I finally made a revenge!! mm~~ A sweet feeling of making the same surprise to her stayed with me since her visit.

I have to say Thank you to Mika, Aileen's husband, who helped a lot to plan this secret visit. Together they are an amazing couple who inspires and shares love with their family and friends :) No doubt they have to fight stereotypes everyday by having different cultural backgrounds but the world needs more couples like these two! Look at them!!
