PART II

Early March in Seoul is not the warmest time so a stop for a warm quick street food was a must! Can you resist this rice cake and sausage combo? ;) add some delicious warm broth and you are in heaven, mmm~~ ok, maybe not but you at least feel energized for sure :)

After Gyeongbokgung Palace we walked to old town full of beautiful ancient houses. Traditional house is square shape and have inside garden. And this area is open and would have a small garden.

I have to mention that when we walked into an old town area a city worker walked to us and gave information where to find everything and the best places to see. How efficient and smart is this?

A day in Hanbok dress .

Part I

Woohoo! Fun time and here we go :) Our first morning we took public transit and went to the city center. Next to Gyeongbokgung Palace we rented traditional Korean outfit called - Hanbok. Girl's dress (the one I wore) is from two parts - top and long skirt. Men have a little bit more parts and I believe it also depends on weather what they will wear. Not long ago it was an everyday attire for Korean people. Today it's mostly used on special occasions like wedding. And now they are renting it for everyone who want to try it out. Also if you do rent Hanbok you don't have to pay to get into Gyeongbokgung Palace. Nice!

Honestly it felt like we are kids again and we just met to play around this amazing palace :)

How to describe something that you fell in love? All the words suddenly seem weak and not strong enough. I want to mention everything at the same time. I almost want to shout about my love but at the same time I feel stuck because I don't know where to start.

Mmmmm...... I have an idea!

A long long time ago I met Aileen or Jiae on a very first day at my work. I remember very well I was going downhill and thought how I will meet lots of new coworkers and it almost felt like I'm going back to university. My thoughts were stopped by a soft voice saying 'Hi' :) She ran over the street to ask if I'm going to the same place as she is. Luckily I was and since then we had lots of great time working together :) When she had to leave Canada I cried. I was not ready to break our young relationship. The same year she came back secretly and made a surprise for me. So this year I finally made a revenge!! mm~~ A sweet feeling of making the same surprise to her stayed with me since her visit.

I have to say Thank you to Mika, Aileen's husband, who helped a lot to plan this secret visit. Together they are an amazing couple who inspires and shares love with their family and friends :) No doubt they have to fight stereotypes everyday by having different cultural backgrounds but the world needs more couples like these two! Look at them!!
